I’m loving reading all about it. You have a real talent with words! I loved the cat place but, so far, that’s all I’m envying!! Great photos! What does Sian eat? (Oh and I’ve seen the RIDICULOUS amount of steps you’ve taken this week!!! Poor Sian having to keep up with you!!).

She thought she wouldn’t like it Jo, but she loves the food. Dumplings, steamed buns, noodles, rice. All very cheap.
Interestingly they don’t seem to eat a lot of bread, although there are lots of cakes in the shops, but they don’t make their own because they have no ovens!
She hasn’t been with me all of the time to have to keep up, as she works from 4. It’s funny though, even if you take the subway, which is great, it’s quite often a bit of a trek to change lines!
Off to buy some more gloves In a minute, as my leather ones aren’t great for the snow and wet!
